“but he’s just a guy. Just a regular guy with tremendous resources.” Well, not exactly, but as a handle, yes, as a person, well, who knows: “CECIL ADAMS DOES NOT IDENTIFY ANY PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL BUT WAS DEVISED AS A FANCIFUL NAME” soruce: US patent & trademark office. ---

Cecil…a _concept_? Bah! He’s as much of a concept as…as… I just don’t know what. Of _course_ he exists, even if it’s in our own little smarmy minds. I just am grateful that he allows us to play in his sandbox. Thanks, Cece! ---

Just because I used the term “concept”, **Ruby** , does not mean I do not quote The Master As “Cecil Adams” IRL. I’m simply saying why knock one of the main reasons why we’re here? A grand idea, continuing on. Yay, Cecil! 🙂 ---

The factual replies on this board are usually 50-90% correct, usually incomplete, and quite often not funny. There are posters here who, given Cecil’s resources, _could_ probably give responses that were 90%+ complete/correct. And some of them might be as funny. But the big guy does this day in and day out. And I’d guess he makes slighly less than an NBA star for the thankless job. Whoever he is, I hope he keeps doing it. ---
