What IS it with drivers and railroad crossings?!

When I took Driver’s Ed in 1965, the book we used–Sportsmanlike Driving, published by the Auto Club–commented that it is usually the automobile that causes the collision–and in many cases the train is struck behind the locomotive. People just don’t learn…
The Blue Line trains often post a picture of a wallet that has obviously been knocked out of someone’s pocket during a collision; driver’s license and other cards and pictures show. The caption reads, “The next time you try to beat the Blue Line to the crossing, please leave identification.” :frowning:
