The weekend after Halloween is home to the [Punkin’ Chunkin’ World Championship](http://www.punkinchunkin.com/) \* Now I’ve learned of a Scrapple\*\* toss at a [Apple/Scrapple festival](http://www.applescrapple.com/) just a few weeks earlier in the same town. WTF, didn’t their mothers teach them not to play with their food??? - If you have the opportunity: GO! If it’s not on your bucket list: ADD IT! You _could_ watch it on Thanksgiving night, but like watching fireworks on TV, it ain’t nearly as spectacular as seeing it live & you just need to be there live to watch a pumpkin shot almost 1 mile (:eek:) downfield or any of the more interesting launchers. \*\* For those of you not familiar, Scrapple is a Philadelphia-area, ummm, “delicacy” with the tag line of, “Everything but the Oink” Some people think it’s made of pig Scrap[del]ple[/del]s but I there’s a reason the middle 4 letters are [del]S[/del]crap[del]ple[/del]. Yeee-uuuccckkk! ---
