“Nice guy” is more like the wolf in sheep’s clothing. The sort of guy who invests everything and receives little or nothing is a “simp.” ---

In my admittedly limited experience hearing it in the wild like 5 times, it’s not just about not being girly, it’s about displaying contempt for girly girls in order to feel special and/or ingratiate yourself with guys. If you just don’t like girly things that’s fine, it’s when you start putting down other girls that the label starts to attach. ---
