# What is one thing someone said that made you lose respect for them?

I used to know a guy who explicitly stated that he dismisses any science that conflicts with the bible and that he doesn’t “believe” in science.

Huh?

Well, no more airplane rides for you, I guess. And you should probably give me your iPhone 6 because, you know, science.

I said to him, “You know, some day you are going to walk into a room where someone you love is being kept alive by machines worth more than your house. What then, you jackass?”
