Not for me. I don’t send or receive enough texts to be worth even the lowest plan.
So I pay $.10 per send or receive. Opting out of receiving is an option, but occasionally my friends text me and I don’t want them to think it got through when it didn’t.
So instead whenever we receive a text, my wife and I say, “Bob owes me a dime!” or “Jim stole 10 cents from me!”
The worst was when one friend texted the same thing to both of us, and then another friend forwarded the same text to both of us to make sure we got it. “They stole 40 cents from us!”
