# What is Sexism?

Why are you so upset that there are multiple definitions?

I truly don’t understand your type of thinking.

There are all kinds of things we use words to describe and there are lots of words with multiple definitions and being clear about those definitions is just a basic part of communication.

It doesn’t strengthen or weaken anyone’s arguments, it merely allows for a clear exchange of ideas.

You responded in the same way when I questioned the use of the term misogyny with respect to some of the comments being made.  
How can you have a meaningful conversation with anyone on any topic if you respond the way you have with respect to these terms?
