# What is so great about Cialis the new ED drug

Is it true that Viagra and Levitra only last for about 3/4 hours and this new drug lasts all weekend? The logical extension (no pun intended) would be a drug that lasts for a week, month, six months, year etc. I guess that it would be like being 18 again. I understand that the French call it LaWeekend drug.

I still find it hard to believe that anyone actually calls it “the weekend drug”. I thought spammers invented that term to get around subject filters, just like “V.I.A.G.R.A” and “ro-ck ha\_rd e,r,ecti0ns”. 😉

does it actually give you an erection for a weekend, or just make it possible? I would tend to think it would limit ones social life with a 48 h boner - but then perhaps not 🙂

I’m not speaking from experience, here. I’ve read some about these drugs, and I’ve talked to men who’ve used the Pfizer one. The pill does not give you a continuous boner. If you’re mentally aroused, you’ll get a stiffy. If you have sex, and you have an orgasm, the stiffy goes flat as usual. Get aroused again, and twang, there it is again, and so on for up to 4 hours.

Presumably, a man who wasn’t thinking about sex could go through the whole 4 hours without an erection. That’s an unlikely scenario, though. If a fellow didn’t intend to have sex, why would he take the pill?

The L pill lasts longer than the V pill, up to 8 hours. The C claims to be effective for about 36 hours.
