# What is the advantage of bicycles over tricycles?

One other unpleasant disadvantage, if you ride on roads with a pronounced camber, you can’t lean the trike to keep yourself vertical, and the lean that the trike has can cause back problems in some folk.

On bumpy roads trikes are something of a handful, I can’t imagine that a trike ATB would be much fun for this reason.

I agree bikes are better for most of the reasons given but this seems suspect. Wouldn’t shifting yourself acomplish the same thing?
