# What Is The Background Vocalist Saying In This Song?

At 2:04, the background vocalist says something that sounds like “Digit Man!” Obviously that’s not it.

At 2:24, a background vocalist says something like “Do it Jimmy Lewis!” Again, I don’t think that’s it.

Can anyone make out what’s being said?

Sounds to me like “Preach it, man!”

Good question. It sure sounds like “Jimmy Lewis” or “Jimmy Louis,” but I can’t figure out who that could be. At first, I thought maybe Jim Frey, but Frey’s middle name is Gottfried. Then I thought maybe it’s one of the musicians, but can’t find anybody that would fit. So, you’ve got me.
