Even the old Oslo Accords had (settlement) areas where Palestinians were not in charge of security in their own territory. That already established an apartheid-like situation, which has only gotten much worse.
The best solution would’ve been for the Palestinians to accept the 2 state solution offered under Clinton. They would’ve gotten 95%+ of the west bank if they had taken that.

Sadly there is no chance of peace anytime soon. Israel has built so many settlements in the west bank that it’ll never become its own state sadly.
Israel gave Palestinians a state of their own to vote in in 2006 in Gaza. Palestinians elected Hamas who destroyed the democracy, misused foreign aid and started building up military infrastructure to attack Israel.

More like a state that was 70% whites not admitting black IT workers, because they are not white. Or reverse black and white if you prefer, you get the idea.
