Even the old Oslo Accords had (settlement) areas where Palestinians were not in charge of security in their own territory. That already established an apartheid-like situation, which has only gotten much worse.
The best solution would’ve been for the Palestinians to accept the 2 state solution offered under Clinton. They would’ve gotten 95%+ of the west bank if they had taken that.

Sadly there is no chance of peace anytime soon. Israel has built so many settlements in the west bank that it’ll never become its own state sadly.
Israel gave Palestinians a state of their own to vote in in 2006 in Gaza. Palestinians elected Hamas who destroyed the democracy, misused foreign aid and started building up military infrastructure to attack Israel.

More like a state that was 70% whites not admitting black IT workers, because they are not white. Or reverse black and white if you prefer, you get the idea.

Just look at his response to “they were human beings in Gaza.” He just repeats the very same talking points you used earlier: talking points where I’m STILL waiting for you to provide the evidence.
And this was back in 2016. Imagine sticking to the same talking points for decades. No wonder people fell for it. Imagine not being able to express any empathy for decades.
Gaza was then and still is now under illegal occupation. That was the status under international law. Imagine if you left the United States tomorrow, but when you tried to return, you couldn’t get back in because Canadian troops on the border had the US under blockade. Imagine the airports getting destroyed and not being able to fly back in. Imagine if the amount of food and aid allowed into the US depended on a calorie count. Imagine if American bodies were held hostage. Imagine having restrictions on being able to fish.
Israel didn’t “give Palestinians a state of their own.” They were then and they are now illegally occupying Palestine.
News articles over the past few days have quoted the PM and others confirming that, unlike, say, 20 years ago, current Israeli policy is that there be and will be no Palestinian state. Israel is also not about to extend citizenship to Palestinian civilians. Therefore, apartheid and occupation is the only thing in the cards for them right now.
It does not seem even the proponents and perpetrators are attempting to “defend” this policy in any serious terms, or feel the need to.
Some are – it appears that some of the advocates in this thread defend these policies with the assertion that the Palestinian people are inherently savage and warlike and incapable of living peacefully.
