My favorite has got to be **Battlefield Earth**. I’ve always wanted to see John Travolta tackle something different.

_2001_, _To Kill A Mockingbird_, _Citizen Kane_ and Olivier’s _Hamlet_ are among the best films I’ve ever seen.

But I have to go with _A Man For All Seasons_ starring Paul Scofield. Oscars for best picture, best actor, best director, best cinematography, best screenplay. Adapted from an award-winning play and with an excellent supporting cast. Orson Welles is absolutely _brilliant_ in his scene as Cardinal Wolsey. Leo McKern is perfect for Thomas Cromwell. Wendy Hiller is great at More’s somewhat rough but fiercely loyal wife. Susannah York is wonderful as More’s well-educated and intelligent daughter - and beautiful, too!

All for different reasons:

\*\*Radio Days \*\*

\*\*Billy Elliott \*\* “Oy, dancin’ boy!”

\*\*My Favorite Year \*\* “Jews know two things: guilt and good chinese take out.” “I’m a Movie Star, not an actor!”

\*\*Payback \*\*

**Lethal Weapon** the original. The rest…well…lets leave it alone.

\*\*Pride and Prejudice \*\* Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
