Here’s a recently discovered pleasure: [Old Ballycastle ginger](https://www.instacart.com/whole-foods/products/255719-powell-mahoney-cocktail-mixer-old-ballycastle-ginger-25-36-fl-oz). It’s a mixer, non-alcoholic, and OMG does it ever give a concentrated sweet, hot ginger rush!! It is NOT a ginger beer. It’s more like a ginger liqueur, but without the alcohol. ---

Some time in the mid 90’s I was in Tiajuana and got some horchata from a street vendor. Holy crap that was delicious. ---

I’ll have to get some of that! I see from your link that it has a little capsicum in it, as does the Goya brand I like. In a pinch I sometimes go for Cock and Bull (“Inventors of the Moscow Mule!”) since there’s a store nearby that carries it, and I’ve tried quite a few others with varying success. I’ll also look for **don’t ask** ’s Bundaberg. Thanks to all ginger beer fans! **Saintly Loser** , I’ll second (oops, third) your endorsement of San P. Limonata. (Now I’m craving that ginger liqueur I made a few times. Maybe I’ll have to do anther batch soon.) ---
