In western MI, we have the [National Baby Food Festival](http://www.nbff.org/). It is held every July in Freemont, MI, pop 4,224. It is actually not that bad, but I am pretty sure it was listed as the Readerā€™s Digest #1 festival to avoid. Which of course brought more people this year. ---

Urbanna Oyster Festival (at least til it got a little out of hand). Oysters and crabs, fresh out of the Bay, served anyway you want. Plus, lots and lots to drink. ---

Within a 15 mile radius of my home, I can attend the following: Circleville Pumpkin Show Millersport Sweetcorn Festival The Tomato festival Lancaster Festival (biggest in Ohio) Baltimore Festival Jamboree in the Hills (Can you say Moonshine?) ---

The Richwood West Virginia Ramp Festival.
