This is a letter with a lot of good songs! I came up with a list of about 30 candidates just off the top of my head. [Bring It On Home To Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HE1hf2nhi0s) - Sam Cooke [Boulder to Birmingham](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Klh7sAv9hu4) - Emmylou Harris [Blackbird](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LLkn-KLatY) - Nina Simone (definitely not the Beatles song) [Blue](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxt1zWh6m4Q) - Lucinda Williams [Big Country Blues](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yw8O2mdrxs) - Townes Van Zandt Looking these over, I must be in a melancholy mood today. Left for others to nominate: The Ballad of Ira Hayes - Johnny Cash; Behind Blue Eyes - The Who; Bloodletting - Concrete Blonde; Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain - Willie Nelson; Box of Rain - The Grateful Dead; Boys in Town - The Divinyls; Big River - Johnny Cash ---
