The poll creation process does give the option to close it after X days, maybe I’ll start doing that while making it clear to participants that it’s a finite deal. mmm ---

That would seem to be ideal. Post I, discussion and voting for a little bit, post II, discussion and voting on I and II occurs for a while, then post final, with more votes and discussion. The discussion keeps the thread up with current threads and people don’t have to hopscotch around to access the earlier polls. ---
