# What is the cheapest website where I can get stock photography?

I’m looking for a website that provides high-quality stock photography at an affordable price. Are there any out there that I should take a look at?

I don’t know about cheapest, but [istockphoto.com](http://istockphoto.com) is quite reasonable.

The Wikimedia Commons is a good place for free photos.

Of course, you have to sift through a lot of this, since there are many less-than-spectacular user-submitted photos, but there are some gems out there, with a very lax license!

[http://www.sxc.hu/](http://www.sxc.hu/) is a good free stock photo site.

I have been happy with all of these - they are very affordable, As little as $1 a photo.
