37th Ave and Douglas Road are names for the same street. A section of that street, between 199th and 215th, has been designated as Louis Maxwell Jr Ave for a soldier who was killed in action in Kabul in 2009.

> Yeah, the post office does not deliver. Everyone has a PO Box, except for a few gang boxes located in subdivisions.

There’s a town in Arizona located inside the Grand Canyon, and the Post Office delivers mail there even though they have to use _mule trains_ to do it.

I’m not sure I want to know what’s going on in your county that they won’t even bother to attempt it.

You mean like in Rochester, where West Avenue intersects with West Street?

I can navigate New Orleans fine, but I’m always confused about what direction things are because the grid follows the river; I’m constantly getting turned around.

I think it’s mostly snow, snow and more snow. Hard for postmen and women. Putting a mailbox next to the street just gets it destroyed by snow plows.
I’m one of two houses on this road. Really no point in delivery. And I rather they didn’t even try.

Same issue with trash pick up. A few private companies have tried, but it’s sort of pointless. There’s also a bear issue with trash. You would need bear proof containers. I donno though. Some SFR’s may get trash pick up in town if you pay someone to do it. Multi-family has enclosed dumpsters.

That’s pretty bad. For us it’s more like “No, we already have three Lake View RDs. or Alpine AVE. No more!”

This does force developers to get a bit creative. Including one suggestion ‘FU Road’. That would actually pass our regulations.
