What is the definitive Smoker Car?

Oh yes, as least the nice ones did. I remember one station wagon my father had that had a cigarette lighter in each ash tray. Of course there was an ash tray on each side of the back seat and on each side of the wayback seat, presumably so the little kids could smoke too.

This is all extremely helpful (believe it or not this information is going to be put to use). Wing windows is an EXCELLENT observation, as is the lighter-in-the-ashtrays factor. And the class of car being noted corresponds well with my own prejudices.

You get what I’m driving at. Cars with cloth fabric seem to, er, retain the essential miasma of a smoker more effectively, no?
