Especially when you consider that Wonderland is where they used to have the dog races (in Boston).

They might be giants does a lot of wordplay. Rhythm Section Want Ad from their first album made me chuckle with this:  
“Speak softly, drive a Sherman tank,  
Laugh hard, it’s a long way to the bank”

Old 97s have lots of clever lyrics. In Designs on You, where the singer is trying to convince an engaged woman to cheat with him, he says, “I won’t tell a soul except the people in the nightclub where I sing.”
