I was always a fan of **Mike Tyson’s Super Punch Out** and that game was chock full of crazy enemies. My favorite being Bald Bull. ---

If you’re counting webgames, there was a very fun bit of pro-Kerry propaganda around before the election, which included a giant George H. Bush and Barbara, uh, copulating and producing armies of children to fight you. I always had a soft spot for some of the sillier Final Fantasy villains – like that octopus from FF6 (FF3 in English). And Palmer, of course (I think he’s slapping his butt to say, “Come and get it!” – frankly, in his case, that manouvre should render the whole party blind). ---

You’re right, dotchan. I only played FF9 up to meeting Kuja, and forgot what he looked like. I think I blocked out the thong, too. But if you want nothing but funny enemies, get thee to the import shop and pick up any old Parodius game. I don’t know what’s weirder, the catship or the bald eagle wearing the Uncle Sam hat. ---

_Fight Night_ (C64 game, not sure if it was on other platforms): your first opponent was a nerd, not unlike Red Green’s nephew Harold in boxing trunks. ---
