Look pal, I want fricking moral tests, I’ll sign up for parochial school. I expect to **enjoy** my games. (Yeah, I’m well aware that the prevailing paradigms are ever-increasing difficulty and mutiplayer chaos. I’m oldschool.) In Brotherhood, I robbed heralds blind immediately after bribing them (which is the only way to reduce your wanted level). Why? Because it was far less tiresome than having to earn that much money again. Ubisoft gave me a hammer, _I used it._ And don’t even get me started on Black Flag, where grabbing everything that isn’t nailed down is pretty much required to make any progress whatsoever.

I don’t give a crap about “morals” in my video games. Or “reality”. (And to hell with all the modern day technobullcrap like “immersion” and “ludonarrative dissonance”.) I want a good time and I’ll do whatever it takes to get it. Some gutter slug spews filth through my speakers, either he gets wrecked or the disk does. No exceptions.

And again, do you actually have a problem with a _Viking_ having questionable morals and stealing?

Off topic: I still think this twist was a horrible as spill and I still hate it.

Hey, you be you. The world needs murderhobos too.

Personally, the whole “Viking” thing is one reason why Valhalla is one of my least favorite AC games and one of the three I never finished. I’d much rather play Ezio, Bayek or the Frye twins than some random Scandi goon.

As I noted, you can absolutely be put in a situation where you can save the geth or the quarians, but not both.

That happened to me once. I chose the Geth, and Tali’s reaction… well, let’s just say I had to turn the game off for a bit.

I play through the Starcraft II campaigns probably twice a year and swap back and forth between the two. Same for the purge the plague planet choice.
