What is the healthiest/safest place in the world to live?

No, because nobody is saying they are the same. Boredom, brought on by a changeless unfulfilling life, was brought up as an explanation for high suicide rates in some places. Nothing to do with how healthy the surroundings are. As mentioned above, Singapore is very healthy, and I suspect it’s a very interesting place to live as well, compared with say, rural Finland.

Sort of depends on whether you are a keen hunter, hiker, camper, canoeist or skier, doesn’t it? Singapore isn’t ideal for communing with nature or letting your inner misanthrope out to play, just like six-finger country is a bit crap in terms of restaurants, nighclubs and crowds of people to hang out with.

Lets face it, you’re never going to get a consensus on where is a great place to live, any more than you are going to get the entire population of Boulder to move to Manhattan or vice-versa.
