They have to be flown to each of our staffers as well. My arms are really tired after that. 🙂 No, I meant to send the list to Ed and I thought I did and it turned out I didn’t. Shi–stuff happens sometimes. In the meantime I am endlessly tortured by the prospect of really nice people drinking their coffee out of their cupped hands because they have no mugs. ---

I treasure my SD mug. I got it awarded to me special for performance above and beyond the call of ordinary duty, which of course means it involved squid. But that was only the beginning. But I fear I’ve said too much already… ---

I’ll second that. I’m the last thing from a moderator - and I think the reason I never dedicated myself to being the type of poster the SDMB would even think about considering for moderation duties is because I already got a mug, from some kind soul in an SDMB white elephant exchange. You can blame that person for me being an occasional unsufferable prick around here. ---

I don’t want to prolong this argument. Just saying, if I wanted Google’s opinion, I’d go to Google, If I wanted to ask Jeeves, I would, and if I want to hear the Straight Dope as a paying customer, I should be allowed to do so too. At least my posts are not in the gutter. SDMB needs a niche esp stemming from a newspaper. Yeah, there’s a prolific business. :rolleyes: SMDB (i.e., Chicago’s City Paper) profits from, hmm, selling out server space? Nnn? (A little Church Lady inflection here.) Well, that’s what Wikipedia and my Magic 8 Ball tell me, so there you have it. And, if it’s on the internet, it must be true!
