Who doesn’t like movies with lines like, “[Everyone!!!](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrTsuvykUZk)?” Or scenes like [the restaurant setup](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vcT4r7Tljk) to the [gunfight](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxg_DjlkaMA)s in _La Femme Nikita_? Others in the “drunk off my ass at 2AM, but will happily watch all the way through anyway,” category are [_The Cannonball Run_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082136/) (though I suspect it’s aged even more poorly than I have) and Ahhnold’s [_Conan the Barbarian_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082198). I told him, “You can probably think of a zillion reasons why jets, helicopters, and conventional weapons would be more practical. But then you wouldn’t have a movie with Giant Robots fighting Giant Monsters” ---

As a goofy B film- well, it’s a Bruce Campbell movie. Wonderfully campy and stupid. But it’s also an interesting commentary on Campbell’s relationship to his career and role in the movie world- it makes you really hope he’s made peace with it all, because if he hasn’t, it’s one of the most horrifically depressing movies ever made. ---
