Huh. Same thing, I did a quick inventory. Most of my expensive stuff (okay, pretty much all) is electronics. iPhone ~600€ Desktop (old now, was ca. 800€ new) Laptop (2 years old, was 750€ new) Projector (bought 6mo old used, 800€) Wedding rings also around the same. No car, no house, can’t count things I don’t have 😉 NB ---

By mid november, the most expensive thing, other than our house/barn/tools/tractor will be what will just start to put into our children’s braces. 2 Kids at the same time. ---

We have a walk-in bathtub, installed for my wife, that cost $3800 plus about $2500 to install. After 3 years of depreciation I’d value it at $2500 (not including installation). ---

Engagement ring for me. Not that it’s especially big/fancy (.4 carats). All our big purchases are child care and home improvements. ---

Probably my electric drumkit which was about £1,700 new. Although my dental implant cost twice that much and it doesn’t even sound good. ☹ ---
