What is the most libertarian state?

Which state has the least regulation, taxes, and stupid laws?

State of the US, or nation-state of the world?

Define “stupid laws”.

State of the US. California is a good example of stupid laws.
Example:California Crackdown on Modified Cars

Stopping speeding, street racing, and excessive noise pollution is stupid? OK then, I pass on this one. But I think you’re going to have to come up with a more general definition of “stupid laws” if you’re really after a factual answer.

Of course its stupid. If you own the car you should be able to do what you want with it.

When you ask it like that, the answer is obviously no. But look at this quote…

I’ll give 'em window tinting. but spoilers, extra gauges and racing stickers REALLY should be out of the equation. Therefore, stupid.

Yow.

I don’t really think this has any place in GQ but stickers should never be probable cause, be them Dead stickers, racing stickers, or “Poke Smot”.

Unfortunately, speeding, street racing and pollution (both noise and exhaust gases) impose considerable risk, danger, and nuisance on others, so I think it’s fair to regulate.

I want to drive 85 on the street where your children play.

can we get back to the original question please

Streets are not paved for children to play on. If your kids play on the street they might win a Darwin Award.

Is the answer Wyoming?

A state in which plutocrats own everything necessary for my continued existence sounds more tyrannical than more “free”.

Who said anything about “free”?

My vote goes for that one state, you know… the one where they shot dude’s wife?

There is likely no factual answer to the question asked. You can try again in the IMHO forum if you like. Those wishing to debate what laws are stupid are invited to visit the Great Debates froum.
