American movie, horror or psychological drama, from the 90s. Two little girls raised by a schizophrenic (or “just” bipolar?) mother in some backwater town, the older girl hallucinates about angels and demons, and there is a neighbor who sleepwalks while rambling about something traumatic from her childhood.

I know that the movie left me with a pretty disgusting feeling of creepiness and anxiety, which hardly ever happens (and I’ve watched plenty of disturbing movies). Thank you in advance.
