Where can I find an English translation of The Nun’s Chorus from Strauss’ Casanova? Or can anyone just tell me what it’s about?

Now I’m worried. Do I have no replies because no-one knows the answer (surely not possible here), or have I asked a blindingly obvious question to which no-one will lower themselves to answer.

Or, to put it another way:

Bump.

OK, one more go:
Hup.

Best bet is to go to a music store and purchase the libretto for the piece, I am sure that there is at least one version at amazon, they seem to have everything

Many times the sheet music has an english translation along with the original german version, IIRC when I was singing in school that was frequently the case. Even if it is only in german, perhaps posting the lyrics on this board with a plea for translation would work=)

Your local library probably has a libretto with the original text and an English translation. That’s the route I went when I needed some Wagner translations.
