I heard that a few times from people who’d had a chance to listen to this.
I wouldn’t think to mention them, since I listen to J-pop and K-pop; they’ve got a higher threshold for odd.

I used to scare people with "hopes and fears"in college. It got a lot of hates. It was difficult as hell. But I just listened to an hour of this stuff, and Henry Cow, on you tube and I think it may be something I’m going to check out a lot of. Am i hallucinating it is this good?
I’m pretty sure that would be Ixtasis by Crash Worship.
I particularly remember Song of Investment Capital Overseasfrom *The World As It Is Today *. That record looked like a 33, but played as a 45. At 33, this song is about as menacing as it gets.
I’m a young one. More or less sums up my childhood.
I just remembered, and Googled “Altoona Kitchen Band”. They were a band made up of women who played various household objects as musical instruments, and were a staple of parades and similar events that called for a novelty act in the Des Moines area (Altoona is a bedroom community) when I was a kid in the 1970s.
Most of the links to this that I clicked no longer exist, so it’s a safe assumption that they are long defunct.
