# What is the old tune in this "Baby and Bingo" song?

I couldn’t remember what this old tune was from, so I hummed it into Google Sound Search (their version of Shazam), and it spat out this YouTube video:

Can someone please identify the original, old tune that they recycled (ie, ripped off) here?

I had a 78rpm with this tune !  
It was called “The whistler and his dog”.

“The Whistler and His Dog” sounds like it borrows heavily from this 1864 German tune, better known as the melody for “Where, Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?”:
