Stephen King’s son Joe started writing under the name Joe Hill. So people would know he was serious.

I have always been a late adopter of technology, especially computer or information technology. Still not entirely certain how to use Instagram or Twitter\*, and I’ve never owned a gaming platform or played a video game more advanced than Civ III. When I registered on the SDMB, I said that on the information superhighway, I was the one with the “Caution: Slow Moving Vehicle” sign.

\*If Elon Musk can deadname his kid, I can deadname his shitty social media site.

Back at the turn of the century, this was my only “social” media, and my first time typing anything “online”.

So I randomly picked Digby, but there already was one.
