The trouble is that if you hold a mirror up to a mob of irrational, angry, deluded people, they won’t like what they see, and are liable to tear you limb from limb and stomp up and down on the bits.

In case anybody is wondering, this is a reference to the Akaka bill: [Akaka Bill - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akaka_Bill)

The 2008 Republican Party’s racial policy appeared to be concerned with discrimination against whites, if I am reading the platform correctly.

To be fair, the Republican party condemns all the black racists that insist on disparate treatment in college admissions and shit like that.

In Tennessee, they are very actively promoting bigotry based on religion.

I live in Murfreesboro.

Is this still going?

I think the plan is to keep blacks out because, “Blacks are the real racists.”

Am I warm?

Anyone remember Pete Hoekstra’s (R) Super Bowl ad?

Pretty fucking racist.

So which Republican denounced him? Romney? Beach Bum with the Bronze skin Boehner?

How about appointing a couple of black Secretaries of State for starters.

I’ll be more impressed with minority representation at the GOP convention. Last one the cameras seemed to pan across the same handful for the duration.

There’s also the issue of their public face vs the face they show behind closed doors.
