The entire factual universe is. Science could certainly study gods if they actually existed and ever actually did anything. And what makes you think that love is outside of the purview of science? It’s just an emotion, a brain state. Not some super-special ultra-unknowable mystic thing.

So, having noted the chemical and electrical brain state, you now know all there ever could be to know of love.

I begin to understand.

If I knew and understand it well enough, yes. Just as if I could somehow know and understand your entire brain state well enough I’d know and understand you completely, better than you know yourself. We can’t do either yet, but that doesn’t make such things unknowable by science or mystical.
