Worst beer EVER? Well, I’m not sure. I despise all the macrolagers, and Coors always gives me a headache for some reason. The latest awful beer in recent memory was True Blue Blueberry Lager. It tasted like blueberries soaked in battery acid, with a grainy finish. At least it was 8% and I could drink one and be buzzed, then eat something to get rid of the taste. ---

The worst was Arrogant Bastard Ale- one drink and it was down the drain. Pyramid IPA was a very close 2nd. ---

When I was last in Texas, I stopped at a bar in Houston Hobby on my way out of town. Saw a neon sign for **Zeigenbock** , thought it might be a local, and ordered one. I very quickly regretted that. Awful awful beer. **Mickey’s** in the wide-mouth bottle is pretty damn bad too. ---

Zeigenbock is actually made by Anheuser-Busch. Its big selling point is that it’s only available in Texas. ---

If homebrew counts, then the beer my flatmates at Oxford made is a clear #1. Take equal parts bathwater and seltzer water, then mix in a handful of beach sand (make sure it’s sand that has weird little unidentifiable bits in it) and enough Dettol to give it about 1% abv. I kept trying to tell them they had to let it ferment a bit longer, but _nooooooo_. ---

ABA is marketed as a [“very aggressive beer”](http://www.arrogantbastard.com/). I think it it’s one of the best around but it does have a harshness to the flavor that other beers don’t have. ---

Red White and Blue…it was so bad we threw FREE sixpacks of it away. One summer day in my younger and broker years my friends and I purchased a case of beer on the cheap. It was called “Old German” and the bottles were shaped like old timey barrels…GAH! It was horrible, but in our youthful enthusiasm to get smashed we drank it anyway. My buddy Sam mentioned that while it was called it “Old German” it was brewed in New Jersey.
