In terms of real-world negative effect, I’d say the Charlie Hebdo cartoons were the worst. ---

I’m glad I wasn’t subjected to that trash as a kid. cat dog was formulaic and not that much different from the mediocre angry beavers .and the only good thing about cow and chicken was it spawned IM weasel… And if you realized kids next door was a slam on the whole helicopter guardians/parents of the 00s and the things parents put their kids through in general … although I do agree it could be disgusting and mean at times … believe me if you’ve ever suffred from a homemade haircut that episode rings true … But my nomination is the first and last 2 seasons of johnny bravo where van partible was involved… I mean a cartoon about a lunk who would get arrested for sexual harassment today … the funny thing is the middle seasons where kirk tingblad ran it were funny but once he came back it was cringey again (and he made it a point to shit on all the characters he didn’t create in every episode ) ---

The best bit was when they had to go into the men’s room to relieve themselves, and all the other users came out saying stuff like “that had to hurt” and making pained expressions… Of course, the best thing about Cow and Chicken was the line in the theme song “daddy was proud, he didn’t care how”! ---
