The Spin and Puke. Or Whirl and Hurl.
Or maybe the Tilt-a-Hurl.
I thought i’d replied to this thread about a ride I’ve not seen the likes of, that my wife and I rode in St. Petersburg, Russia. Once it really got going you were rotating like the octopus, then flipping over vertically.
Old wooden coasters like the Coney Island Cyclone are a bit scary as they creak and sound old.
In one the first case I pretty much knew I was going to die and not even make the news, in the latter you kind of need to pretend the Cyclone is going to send you flying onto the boardwalk. Or Nathans Hot Dogs.
I used to enjoy running the Tilt-a-Whirl. I had a lever, or maybe it was a foot switch, the slightly slowed the deck so I could make certain cars spin as they went down the slopes.
LOVE Kennywood !!! Been a few times.
That rollercoaster, that plunges from high up to UNDERGROUND for a few seconds?
Sheer terror.
Meanwhile, to the OP, I’d call them Puke Parades cause from the age of oh, about …7… those things upend my inner balance.
My personal favorite Kennywood coaster is the Jackrabbit. It has a double dip hill where you can get some great airtime.
