I was deleting some files this morning when I came upon this text document. It was in a folder with name made of what seemed to be random letters and numbers. I’ve been unable to delete it normally ( acess denied), but I’m thinking of using FileAssassin on it. However, before I do so, would deleting a text document hurt me, is there important info I may need in the future? Here’s a partial:

Well, according to [this site](http://forums.techguy.org/malware-removal-hijackthis-logs/519424-new-folder-c-drive-no.html), it is most likely the installer log file for a Windows update:
Windows XP MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978) Saturday, November 18, 2006 Automatic Updates
General consensus there is that this is just a log file, and can be deleted safely.

Have you tried restarting? It may be locked because the install isn’t finished until reboot.
