Like **Johnny LA** said, it’s an F-650, but the pickup bed would be a custom addition. Medium-duty trucks like this usually leave the factory with just the cab and frame rails and get sent to separate companies that make them into delivery trucks, flatbeds, tow trucks, or whatever. Maybe there’s someone out there slapping pickup beds onto new ones, or else it could be a custom build. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be that hard to custom fit a bed off of some puny lesser truck like an F-350. ---

So it was about 2004, I was driving from LA to SF. I stopped for gas near Castaic. In the station was an F-650 4WD pickup with giant gumbo buttfucker tires (44?, 48? Huge), and to clear the tires a suspension lift AND a body lift kit. The seam between the bottom of the door and the rocker was exactly at my eye level. I could have bent a bit at the waist and walked under the truck. I wanted to over and tell him I was sorry that he had such a small dick. ---

I’ve never understood that either. I had a supercharged Cobra sitting in my garage at the same time that I was daily driving a Miata. What kind of signals does that throw out there to people that judge based on vehicle preference? ---

I love cars I love messing with cars I love looking at cars. If I see a Lamborghini or Ferrari I have no thoughts about the driver. But this truck was in a whole different realm. It was too tall to: Off-road due to a center of gravity about 8 feet in the air Drive into a parking garage Take on dates Go through drive thrus. Drive in traffic ( would not be able to see cars or pedestrians either in front or to the rear. Park easily (or at all) Haul anything in the bed It was totally useless except for the look at me factor. So at some point you have to ask yourself, what drove the owner to build such a vehicle and why? To show off? Obviously. To show what a man they are? Probably. To compensate for some shortcoming? (perceived or real) not really a stretch to think that. Now while I have a certain level of admiration for the effort to build such a shitbox I would much rather have the large pile of $ it took to build it. This thing makes the wildest exotic look like a Prius. Now maybe the owner needed a car with that much ground clearance due to having a 6’ dick, but I doubt it.
