Since that truck has a Caterpillar logo front license plate, a Caterpillar logo in place of the Ford logo and is in Caterpillar colors I’m guessing its a custom job for the company. Not an indication of penis size. Or maybe he really likes Caterpillar.

I was describing the truck I saw not the one linked above in pics. The pics above are totally sedate by comparison.

Caterpillar builds engines for that type of vehicle, and I’d guess he has one under the hood. Wanting everyone to know that a maker of giant earth-moving equipment also made the motor in his grocery-getter sounds to me like an excellent indicator of potential penile compensation.

> Like **Johnny LA** said, it’s an F-650, but the pickup bed would be a custom addition. Medium-duty trucks like this usually leave the factory with just the cab and frame rails and get sent to separate companies that make them into delivery trucks, flatbeds, tow trucks, or whatever. Maybe there’s someone out there slapping pickup beds onto new ones, or else it could be a custom build. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be that hard to custom fit a bed off of some puny lesser truck like an F-350.

Getting back to the OP pics, it doesn’t look to me like any kind of custom bed, it’s just a crew-cab (4-door), 4x4, dual-wheel pickup truck with a matching cap on the bed. And some extra (IMO silly looking) do-dads…

The bed has to be custom because Ford doesn’t sell F650s with a bed.

I think the crew-cab is a custom modification too, I don’t see that as an option on [Ford’s page](http://www.ford.com/commercial-trucks/f650-f750/). The F650 looks [like this](http://www.ford.com/commercial-trucks/f650-f750/trim/f650sdproloaderxltdiesel/) when it leaves the Ford factory.

Cite?

I understand these vehicles irritate you. They do me too. Same with loud bass stereo systems.

But I think making tired jokes about their penis size is juvenile and frankly unsupported and probably wrong.

So, is there any evidence that “big trucks = small penis”

My thought is that the trucks irritate you enough that you want to insult them in some way, and this meme fits the bill

This is about the amount of lift, not the overall size of the truck, but according to [this article](http://www.thescoopnews.com/news/articles/173/survey-truck-owners-with-big-lift-likely-to-have-small-penis):

> [@](#):
>
> A recent survey by Car & Truck magazine concluded that there exists an indirect relation between the lift in a truck and the size of the owner’s penis – meaning that as the size of the lift increases, the penis size decreases. Although the relationship had been previously speculated by much of the American population, the survey marks the first documented evidence of the correlation.

Well it might be something…but…you might want to check the veracity of your source…

I think everyone understands that it’s tongue-in-cheek and that there is (probably) not literally a correlation between penis and truck size. It’s basically a modern day variation on the Napoleon complex which is also probably not literally true. It’s mostly just shorthand for a whole slew of macho posturing-- if you say “small penis truck” everyone knows what you’re talking about. I’m personally not particularly bothered by big useless trucks (I drive a full-size pickup myself) but I don’t think the drivers of such trucks are a group of people that need their feelings protected.

Yes I know Caterpillar builds those engines. I have no way to know for sure but it makes me think it may be a custom job for a company. I would guess that truck costs about 100k.
