I don’t think that’s actually “light” art, it’s just a CGI painting that uses bright colors on dark to simulate a glowing effect. It was probably just made in Photoshop or a similar program. ---

Best guess: If not an outright digital painting, then probably some mixture of digital painting techniques over a darkly lit “photo negative” image of the figure (whether the figure is an actual photo, or painted, or a mix). Or, it could be mostly CG/3D modeled and rendered, then sweetened in Photoshop. Why would you think this technique has a name, is it something a ton of people are doing? ---

I was hoping this style had a specific name so I could zero in on whatever it takes to make this sort of an image, recently I saw a leopard done in this style and I wanted to look into it (being similar to light grafitti which I can do) but unless there is a specific name for this style or technique how can I find out more about it? ---
