# What is this odd error message when quoting?

I got this error message today when quoting someone in a GQ thread:

\*You have selected 1 post that is not part of this thread. Quote this post as well, or deselect this post. \*

Huh? I previewed and only the quote I wanted had been selected.

You may have multiquoted sometime in the past. It doesn’t forget that, or at least right away. Choose deselect.

I’ll bet “It” doesn’t forget that you typed “It’s” when you meant to type “Its” 😃

Oh hell \*no \*It doesn’t. It’s funky like that. And not in a good way.
