You are not either distracted. Distracted people would be off being distracted and forgetting to post. You are posting here trying to make the rest of us distracted from all the stuff you have previously said in this thread and trying to make some kind of point, I assume, about how non-racist you are because you are reading up on Southern culture. So after finally explaining wtf you were talking about (your OP made zero sense to me until post 29), I’m still confused by why being old and white made you think this was a “cultural” thing. Also, still not sure wtf you’re talking about. So D put a photo of E’s baby on D’s Facebook profile, and several coworkers found that disrespectful due to some back story that they didn’t fill you in on. You’re confused by…? The concept of disrespect in general, or why some people are upset by it, or do you think only dark people don’t like being disrespected? Were you drinking when you wrote your OP? It’s okay.
