I’m linking to a video, a fairly old one \<10 years, I think, since I first saw it\>, and it’s a sort of gymnastics exhibition by a Canadian team, out of Montreal, that calls themselves Team Ryouko.

I _love_ this stuff, and my sweetie’s boys are of an age where I think they would really love and benefit from training like this.

But we’re in California. The boys are fairly close to San Diego, however, but…the dilemma…I don’t know what this is CALLED.

It’s not parkour. It’s not ‘martial arts’. Rather, it’s likely a martial-arts style of training, but…how do I find it without knowing what it might be called? The boys are too young \<10 and 12\> to set them up with a casual street-running group \<lord knows, San Diego has plenty of those! But that’s for them to decide, later\> ; the Canadian team has regular workouts and training sessions, and I’d love to find something similar to that in the US.

Just…don’t know what that style is called.

Any help?

XMA is mentioned in the clip’s title, which upon wikipedia-ing, refers to “Extreme Martial Arts”.

Doh!

I figured it was their own arena’s ‘brand’ name for it; didn’t realize it’d taken hold.
Thankees!
