# What is this tune that bands play at basketball games?

Each note and rest is approximately a quarter note or quarter rest. (My timing is off, but this generalization should be enough to get the gist of it.) C is the lowest note, and G is the highest:

C rest E rest F rest F G  
C rest E rest F rest F G  
C rest E rest F rest F G  
C C C

When I was little, I called it the “Buttocks Song” (Butt, butt, butt, buttocks…) for some unknown reason. Obviously this isn’t the real title, though.

In our marching band, we call that “Brass Charge 2”. I don’t know any better name for it.

Hm, we called that “Let’s Go Band” in marching band.

Yeah, I’m gonna second “Let’s Go Band” as what both our marching band and pep band called it.
