# What is this woman's Coach handbag style called (pics)

What is exactly would this style be called. None of eBay categories seem to work. Appears to be a sort of single strap over the shoulder bag. Tempted to call it “backpack” style but not sure if that’s correct.
Any suggestions appreciated.

A single strap backpack. Also called referred to as sling strap or one strap backpack.

The last four digits of the handbag indicate the style. I did a search and it doesn’t look like your bag. Either it is very old or not legit. It doesn’t look impressive for a Coach (which isn’t that expensive in terms of fancy bags anyway) but it’s up to you.
I can sell you mine if you really need one. _innocent look_

The [Coach style # drilldown page](http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/more-info-on-serial-and-style-numbers-290713.html) all the authentican sites reference has been off line for over 2 years now. What reference site are you using?

Checked with Coach purse authentication site and uploaded pics. Turns out it is a genuine 1997 Coach bag (and apparently somewhat rare) called the 'Flatiron Sling"!
