So, by the preponderance of the evidence, the most serious medical condition Trump has is pulmonary hypertension. Not good, but not a death sentence. And maybe it’s a borderline diagnosis they came up with to justify a breach of medical ethics. I usually post against punishing people. But I do think that a doctor allowing Trump and Trump alone a drug otherwise only available in a random trial is wildly unethical. If legal, a law should be passed outlawing VIP medicine generally, and certainly VIP bypass of trials. ---

I heard this addressed today on NPR’s “Here and Now.” The White House is denying this, FWIW, and my own experience with compassionate use of not-yet-approved drugs is that it must be done with the full knowledge and cooperation of the patient, or their guardian. He doesn’t admit he’s obese, that’s for sure. ---
