It’s the season, religiously speaking. What? Eh, bear with me. Carne Vale, carnival, Mardi Gras, it’s the day Christians use up their meat and meat fat because it won’t keep through Lent, when they’re supposed to abstain from it. Then, on Easter we have another meat orgy. Lent is over, we eat meat, and we eat Jesus. It’s interesting to me that ham is a traditional Easter meat. Ham is the cured hind leg of a pig, and Jews can’t eat piggy meat. So, on Easter, when Jesus became Christ, we eat ham as a statement of faith. We’re saying, “Hey, we’re eatin’ pork, here! We ain’t Jews no more!” ---

I have a half gallon of bacon vodka (well soon to be bacon vodka) sitting on a shelf waiting to be done getting all bacony so I can drink it…does that count? ---
