# What is wrong with this idea for an audio adaptor?

Use a [patchbay](http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=040730104047170094239204772571/g=home/search/d=tp?q=patchbay) and have the connectors on hand to convert anything to 1.4". I realize thats not really the point of the thread but it is a whole lot easier.
