[This thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=822956) got me thinking, why god why would anyone ever want to be a mod? Not only would I not be willing to pay $300.02 to be a mod for a day, but you couldn’t pay me enough to take that thankless job. So why do you do it, Mods? Is the coffee mug _that_ good? I’m starting to think you’re a bunch of masochists. 😕 ---
